霍乱毒素B亚单位(CTB)除去了CT的毒性,但是保留了强的免疫原性和佐剂活性,没有毒性的CTB在调节APC反应,T细胞反应和抗体的产生中具有重要的调节作用,并且在病毒疫苗、DNA疫苗和肿瘤和自身免疫病治疗疫苗研究中都取得了很大的进展。
发表于Mucosal Immunology的这篇文章,作者为了分析CpGs对H9N2全灭活流感病毒的佐剂作用,分别用PBS、单独H9N2全灭活流感病毒或CpGs联合去免疫小鼠,作者同时选用了经典的粘膜佐剂CT及其B亚单位(CTB)免疫小鼠。
